“Corinna” is the SWEET & CLEAN ROMANCE edition of “The Art of Temptation” by Lauren Royal.
From a New York Times bestselling author and her daughter!

London, 1817 Lady Corinna Chase is a talented painter—who also happens to be a girl. Unfortunately, in London’s art world, that means fewer opportunities and more obstacles. But rebellious Corinna isn’t about to let anything divert her from achieving her dreams. Not even the suspicious behavior of the gorgeous Irishman who’s just moved in next door…

Sean Delaney isn’t who he says he is. Well, he is Sean Delaney, but many people have the impression that he’s John Hamilton, a renowned landscape artist (probably because that’s how he introduced himself). The real John may have blackmailed Sean into the deception, but Sean’s going to have to get himself out of it—or risk spoiling not only his sister’s future, his family’s good name, and the enterprise he built from scratch, but any chance he may have with his lovely new neighbor…

Meanwhile, Corinna's older brother Griffin is helping their cousin Rachael find her father. Rachael is a beauty, but Griffin is wedded to his bachelorhood. Besides, they’re cousins—and though it’s not unusual for cousins to wed, Rachael can’t stomach the thought of marrying even a very distant (and handsome) one like Griffin. Until their search leads them to discover they’re not actually related, after all…

Corinna A Sweet Clean Historical Romance Regency Chase Brides Book 3 edition by Lauren Royal Devon Royal Romance eBooks

I bought and read all three books in this series and enjoyed them very much. I'd like to thank the authors for publishing sweet versions of their books, as I would never have read the "hot" versions. I found the characters very charming and lovable. I really cared about them, as opposed to so many romance novels which are so ho-hum and everyone just feels like a plot device. The historical details were very interesting. I especially liked the background on the royal academy in this book.
The only thing I thought weird was that in all three of the books everyone's parents had died from sudden illnesses and all the gents were either second sons who came into their fortunes reluctantly or (in this book) self-made men. It's almost like the authors did not want to accept the world order that prevailed at that time, with all its snobbishness and exclusivity. The fact that this was the case in all three stories felt contrived.
But really I am just whiner because those are minor details and the books were lovely and good fun.

Corinna A Sweet Clean Historical Romance Regency Chase Brides Book 3 edition by Lauren Royal Devon Royal Romance eBooks Reviews

Another wonderfully well-written piece and fabulous addition to the Chase Brides collection. So, pleased there was another clean, yet truly romantic tale to lose myself within.
This is a sweet book. The book is ever girls day dreams! A handsome man with integrity and goodness who falls in love with the main character. He is a man who is able to make your dreams come true. Of course there are obstacles they must overcome. There is also a side story that will warm your heart as well.
Really enjoyed this book. It was a fun historical romance and it was refreshing to find a clean one. Story was interesting all the way through. My only negative would be that there were a lot of characters and it was sometimes hard to keep straight how they were related to each other. Would have liked to see something at the beginning of the book like a family tree on how all of these characters were related to each other. I enjoyed this author so much that I am now reading Amethyst by her as well. Would definitely read more by this author.
This story revolves around two young couples; it is well written. The story includes something of love, marriage, divorce, adultery ( no sex described), blackmail, ambition, birth, death, suicide (faked), avarice, discovered family, deception, treason, and success. In the beginning I had trouble keeping all of the cast straight but in the end I could think that I knew who was being written about.
As listed as a more sweet than savory version of the original story I was curious to see what changes would be made to the story and if it would still live up to the Royal brand. I was blown away by this novel. I think the change of savory to sweet lets the reader focus on the amazing plot twists in the story more. Which really kept me on my toes dispute having read the original. As someone who has worked in libraries (and snuck her own mother's romance novels at a very early age) I would gladly and heartfully recommend this bee and improved version of this storyline to anyone who is younger or someone who may not prefer the more savoty versions. Very well done and I look forward to my next Laurent Royal read.
Corinna has no desire to be married, as her brother wishes, and instead devotes her time to her art. Sean only wants to help her sister, who is seeking a divorce from her uncaring husband. Circumstances fall in place to bring these two together.

I honestly had a hard time immersing myself into this, due to not having read the previous two books and the family connections between everyone left me confused most of the time. But once I got passed the constant misunderstandings between Corinna and Sean in the beginning, I really began to enjoy the story.

The details, especially in regards to the art world at the time, were refreshing.

This is a book for anyone who has read and enjoyed the first two, and who enjoys a heroine working to achieve her goal.
The title of this book is very misleading. However, inasmuch as this author is known for her one word titles, it follows her pattern. This book is really the story of three couples who eventually find love when family secrets are exposed. Couple #1 is the reclusive artist Lord John Hamilton, famous for the landscapes he paints, and his unhappy wife, Deirdre. She is in love with Daniel Raleigh who wants to marry her, but Lord Hamilton refuses to give her a divorce. Couple #2 is Deidre's brother, Mr. Sean Delany, an Irishman who has come to England with a modest inheritance and who has become extremely wealthy through hard work and excellent business decisions. He meets Lady Corinna Chase at the British Museum, where she is learning about human anatomy by sketching displayed statues. She wishes to become a portrait painter and have one of her paintings displayed at the annual Exhibition. Sparks fly when the two meet. John Hamilton is the heir to the Earl of Lincolnshire, and he has been summoned to the dying Earl's bedside so that they can become acquainted in the few weeks before the Earl's demise. John is blackmailing Sean into impersonating him so he can paint at the home of his mistress. In return, John promises a divorce for Sean's sister. Couple #3 is Corinna's brother, Griffin, who has found husbands for two of his three sisters, and who is determined to find a husband for Corinna. Griffin has loved his cousin, Rachel, for years, but he has no intention of marrying her himself. He finds he is extremely irritated by any male paying attention to Rachel, who learns of a secret involving her parentage, and Griffin steps in to help her find the truth. These three couples' stories intertwine as Sean pretends to be John Hamilton and comes to care for the dying Earl. By the novel's end, the couples have resolved their misconceptions, and all but one person is happy. The reader is invited then to read a love story about another member of the Chase family.
